| Robert Young Band Leader/Singer/Trumpet Player
His voice brings back warm memories of Louis Armstrong. His talented trumpet playing astounds you. His energetic performance brings a light to the audience that few entertainers can match. He's Bob Young, and he is at home on the stage. Bob has played trumpet for over 50 years. As a blind musician, he truly embodies the improvinosational skill that all jazz musicians have. He played in the juke joints made famous in Harlem during the Harlem Renaissance. Since moving to New Jersey, Bob has once again taken up his passion for music to play for those who normally would not be able to attend outside performances and to expose a new generation to the unique American art form of jazz.
